Air quality in retail and commercial premises will be affected by poorly maintained ventilation, emissions from electrical equipment, carpet fibres, sprays and dust and is often identified as ‘sick building syndrome’. Poor air quality may also affect manufacturing or storage processes. For example dust settlement can cause damage to sensitive equipment, or lead to customer dissatisfaction.
