Current employment opportunities:

• Environmental Services Engineer

  We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, competent Engineering staff. The work will include system chlorination and upgrade works, sampling and monitoring duties in compliance with legislative and industrial guidelines. Successful applicants will be of smart appearance, reliable and hold a current driving licence.

• Contracts Manager

  We require experienced Contracts Manager, minimum 2 years experience, to join our teams. A proven track record in both managing client portfolios and achieving new business targets is essential, together with a sound technical grounding and thorough knowledge of the requirements of ACOP: L8.

• Sales Consultant

  We require experienced Sales Consultant, minimum 2 years experience. A proven track record in achieving new business targets is essential, together with a sound technical grounding.

• Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers

  We require experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineers to join our expanding Air Conditioning division. Successful candidates will be required to carry out routine maintenance, service and installation work on a wide variety of equipment ranging from small capacity split systems to large tonnage liquid chillers at a number of contracts within the M4 corridor and surrounding areas. SMS Environmental also carry out Ventilation Hygiene works and a working knowledge of Air handling plant and associated services would be advantageous.

• Pre-qualification Coordinator

  We are seeking a "Bid Pre-qualification and Tender Coordinator" to join our expanding team at our Head Office in Theale. Your role will be to manage the bid pre-qualification process and your success will be measured by the number of pre-qualification’s going through to the tender process. Ideally you will be: It Literate - knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, A good eye for details is essential, Ideally educated to "A" level standard (in English essential) or Equivalent, Experience in the formation of prequel documents is desired but not essential as training will be provided, Industry experience would be an advantage.
